Osceola County is accepting applications for a Veteran Affairs Commission opening. The Osceola County Commission of Veteran Affairs is a three-member Commission that meets monthly and additionally as necessary, to consider Veteran emergency assistance applications, set policy/guidelines and perform budget oversight of the Veteran Affairs office. Applicants must be an honorably discharged Veteran per Code of Iowa Section 35.1. Also need to provide along with application a copy of a certified form DD214. Appointments are a three-year term.
